‘Permaculture’ is the idea that by observing and following nature, we can create an unending food supply.
We believe growing and sharing food has an immensely positive impact on people’s health and sense of well-being, and stimulates practical day to day engagement with regenerative ecology.
Our community garden will be stocked with indigenous varieties of nutritional plants/trees alongside high yield vegetables, fruits, herbs, and edible flowers. It was created using permaculture methods free of pesticides, and will provide fresh organic produce for the community kitchen while demonstrating systems of growing, composting, waste management, and enabling biodiversity.
