

Our Community kitchen is an open plan, multi-purpose space with an ample supply of electrical sockets. It will be used for communal cooking where our volunteer force will generate 2 lunches per week using produce from our garden
It Comprises of:
- 10-foot refectory/food preparation table
- Wood fire hearth and chimney flue
- Concrete kitchen counters
- Firewood storage
- A large larder cupboard space for pickling, fermenting, sprouting, and storing
- Wall mounted plate racks and storage for large cooking utensils
- Sink and washing-up area
- Recycling area
A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF OTHER USES-When not in service as a community kitchen for the local community, the space will host a variety of programmes on ecology, arts, IT, and cookery. It will also be available for hire and is equipped to accommodate pop-up banquets, seminars, and intimate music and theatre performances.
